I'm New

I’m New

Welcome

If you’re new to the area, new to church, or just looking for a new start, our Sunday worship services offer you the opportunity to build your faith in God and connect with new people. Join us in worshipping our Great and Awesome God. We gather together twice every Sunday as brothers and sisters in Christ to sing His praise.  We listen to the proclamation of the gospel and would love to have you join us to learn more about Christ and His love for sinners who turn to Him.

Service Times: Sundays 9:00 am and 1:00 pm

View live video of our services, on Sundays at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, through our church YouTube channel or on our Join Us For Worship page.

What To Wear

What Do I Wear?

While we don’t have a dress code, we encourage worshippers to dress formally as they are in the presence of God.
Most people in our worship services are dressed from formal (suits, dresses) to semi-formal.

Can I Meet The Pastor?

We don’t currently have a pastor in our church but we do have Elders and Deacons who are men appointed to watch over Gods flock as it was set up in the time of the early Christian church.

What Do My Kids Do

What Do My Kids Do?

Our church has nursery facilities for babies and toddlers for both our morning and afternoon services.

Children beyond their toddler years are encouraged to join their family, and the rest of the worshippers, in the worship service.

What Are The Worship Services Like?

Our services are usually 1-1.5 hours long.

We sit in pews and sing along to piano or organ accompaniment.

There is an elder or pastor who will lead the service and deliver a 20-30 minute sermon about the gospel.

After the service is over we gather in the foyer to chat and enjoy each others company.

Singing
Bible Reading and Singing

Bible Reading and Singing

In our worship services we use the ESV or English Standard Version of the bible.

The songs that we sing come from the Book of Praise: Anglo Genevan Psalter which has all 150 biblical psalms put to music as well as 85 hymns. The first Genevan Psalter was published in 1562 and the tunes for most of the psalms and hymns are referred to as the Genevan Tunes.

Both bibles and psalm books are provided.

Why We Worship The Way We Do

Our worship services follow a rich theology and church history focusing on Christ and our dependence on Him.
When looking at worship we need to remember.
What/Who governs our worship?
Church isn’t about us and our preferences. We are to surrender our hearts and minds to the LORD.
In our worship services we try to focus on the fact that it isn’t about us, it is about HIM.
From time to time we add in the 2 sacraments LORD’S Supper and Holy Baptism.
