Welcome
If you’re new to the area, new to church, or just looking for a new start, our Sunday worship services offer you the opportunity to build your faith in God and connect with new people. Join us in worshipping our Great and Awesome God. We gather together twice every Sunday as brothers and sisters in Christ to sing His praise. We listen to the proclamation of the gospel and would love to have you join us to learn more about Christ and His love for sinners who turn to Him.
Service Times: Sundays 9:00 am and 1:00 pm
View live video of our services, on Sundays at 9:00 am and 1:00 pm, through our church YouTube channel or on our Join Us For Worship page.

What Do I Wear?
While we don’t have a dress code, we encourage worshippers to dress formally as they are in the presence of God.
Most people in our worship services are dressed from formal (suits, dresses) to semi-formal.
Message From Our Pastor
Hello! My name is Caleb Kos. Pictured with me is my dear wife, Shanelle Kos, and our two energetic boys, Titus and Zadok. We are also eagerly anticipating the arrival of a third child soon. We’re reminded of the truth of Psalm 128: “thus shall the man be blessed who fears the LORD.” I have had the great joy of serving as minister of the Word at the Devon Canadian Reformed Church since my ordination on November 26, 2023. It is an immense privilege to serve and love God’s people. I count it a deep blessing to preach the gospel and walk alongside God’s people in their faith and life.
I completed my undergraduate studies at Concordia University of Edmonton in Edmonton before moving to Hamilton to attend the Canadian Reformed Theological Seminary (CRTS). Those years of study strengthened not only my love for Reformed theology, but especially my love for Christ and His church. It was during those years that I really understood that Christ could even love me.
The Apostle Paul puts it so beautifully in 1 Timothy 1:15-16. “The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost. But I received mercy for this reason, that in me, as the foremost, Jesus Christ might display his perfect patience as an example to those who were to believe in him for eternal life.” My prayer is that if you’re reading this, you may also know the love of Christ who forgives even the chief of sinners.
This is the heart of my ministry – a simple but profound joy in Jesus – my Savior and Lord. I love showing people how beautiful and good Jesus truly is. One verse especially dear to me is John 6:37: “Whoever comes to me I will never cast out.” That promise shapes my preaching and pastoral work. Anyone can come to Christ. No matter how unworthy we may feel, Christ’s heart perseveres in love toward all who turn to him in faith. His grace is not fragile — it is steadfast, patient, and sure.
My hope and prayer is that our church would be a place where the weary find rest in Christ, where sinners are assured of grace, and where believers are strengthened to live thankful lives before God. I look forward to continuing to serve God’s people along with our elders and deacons in the years ahead.

What Do My Kids Do?
Our church has nursery facilities for babies and toddlers for both our morning and afternoon services.
Children beyond their toddler years are encouraged to join their family, and the rest of the worshippers, in the worship service.
What Are The Worship Services Like?
Our worship services typically last between 60 and 90 minutes.
We gather in pews and sing together, accompanied by piano or organ. Our pastor leads the service and proclaims the gospel in a sermon that is usually 20–30 minutes long.
After the service, we enjoy spending time together in the foyer, visiting and encouraging one another.

Bible Reading and Singing
In our worship services we use the ESV translation of the Bible.
The songs that we sing come from the Book of Praise: Anglo Genevan Psalter which has all 150 biblical psalms put to music as well as 85 hymns. We also use a book of supplemental psalms and hymns. The first Genevan Psalter was published in 1562 and the tunes for most of the psalms and hymns are referred to as the Genevan Tunes.
Bibles and song books are available in the pews to use during the worship service.
Why We Worship The Way We Do
Our worship is shaped by Scripture, a rich Reformed theology, and the historic practice of the Christian church. At the heart of every service is Jesus Christ and our complete dependence on Him.
We believe that God Himself governs how He is to be worshiped. Worship is not centered on our preferences or creativity, but on responding in faith and obedience to His Word. As Jesus says, “God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth” (John 4:24, ESV).
For that reason, our services are structured around the ordinary means God has given to His church: the reading and preaching of Scripture, congregational prayer, singing, and the confession of our faith. In all of this, we seek to remember that worship is first and foremost about the glory of God, not about us. As Psalm 115:1 says, “Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to your name give glory” (ESV).
From time to time, we also celebrate the two sacraments instituted by Christ: Holy Baptism and the Lord’s Supper. In Baptism, God signifies and seals His covenant promises to believers and their children. In the Lord’s Supper, we are strengthened in our faith as we remember and proclaim Christ’s saving death until He comes.
Our mission is simple: that everything we do would direct our hearts to Christ and deepen our trust in Him.
